Delete your NomyNoms account

This page explains how to delete your account in NomyNoms, the meal planning and training app for Android. You can delete it in the app, or ask us by email if you no longer have the app.

Delete your account in the app

  1. Open NomyNoms and tap your picture at the top of the screen to open Settings.
  2. In the Account group, tap Account.
  3. Under Your data, tap Delete account.
  4. Type DELETE, then tap Delete forever.

We delete your account right away, and the app signs you out. Your phone forgets your saved data and your unfinished workouts.

To keep a copy first: in Settings, tap the Export tile to save your food log, weight and workouts as files.

Delete your account without the app

Send an email to hello@nomynoms.com from the email address you use to sign in. Use the subject Delete my account.

We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours. We then delete it within 30 days and reply when it is done.

What we delete

  • Your account: email, name, profile picture and sign in details.
  • Your profile and goals: birth date, sex, height, activity level, targets, allergies and diet settings.
  • Your food log, meals, recipes, meal plans, shopping lists and pantry.
  • Your weight, body measurements and body scan photos.
  • Your workouts, sets, records and splits.
  • Health data that the app copied from Health Connect, and the daily summaries made from it.
  • Your photos: recipe, cooking and profile pictures.
  • Your feedback messages and your Withings connection.

What we keep, and for how long

  • AI usage counts (which feature, how many tokens, the cost). We remove your user id from them, so they no longer link to you. They hold no text, photos or health data.
  • Shared grocery aisle names that you corrected stay in the shared list, with no link to you.
  • Error logs at Sentry and Vercel can hold your user id. They expire on their own within 90 days.
  • Our AI providers (Anthropic and Voyage AI) can keep what we sent them for up to 30 days under their own policies, then delete it.
  • Database backups, if any, expire within 30 days.
  • If you ever paid through our old web app, Stripe keeps the payment records that the law requires.

Data in Health Connect on your phone belongs to you and stays there. To remove it, open Health Connect on your phone and delete it there.
